The 2014-2015 school year is in full swing at Heidelberg
Academy. Our softball team is off to a
great start with an 8-4 record, which is impressive considering they have only
played one 1A team. Meet the Rebels is
August 15, 2014 at 7:00pm. We will play
a scrimmage game against Russell, so come out and support our football team, as
they get ready to begin their season.
Open House was very well attended, and gave parents an
opportunity to meet with teachers; however, the highlight of the evening took
place when Ms. Bustin showed her dance moves with Eddie Walker. Ms. Bustin displayed her ballroom dancing
abilities as a testament to Heidelberg Academy’s new dance instructor, Glinda
Jones. Additionally, those in attendance
enjoyed a karate demo by instructor Chris Bush.
Dance and Karate are new activities offered at Heidelberg Academy. These two additions offer opportunities for
students to develop kinesthetic intelligence and artistic expression.
We are hoping for a great school year! Let’s pray for the teachers as they impart
knowledge to our students, and pray that the knowledge gained will be used to
the fullest extent. Our students can
change the world with hard work and determination.
